Régence cartel clock attributed to Latz

Régence cartel clock attributed to Jean-Pierre Latz. The clock depicts Perseus at the crest arriving to rescue the bound Andromeda below. The high sculptural quality of the mounts and their brilliant integration with the overall design is due to the fact that Latz was one of the rare ébénistes to make his own bronzes.
The movement is signed by Ageron.
