Fine Regency mahogany adjustable piano chair
 
Rare English Regency adjustable piano chair. The rectangular scrolled backrest is carved with six paterae and is supported by two tall curved uprights. The round leather-covered seat is raised and lowered by a beechwood screw mechanism under the seat in the center of the base. The base, with an incurvated stretcher, rests on four saber legs.
