Gilded pair Louis XIV-Regence consoles

Superb pair Louis XIV-Régence gilded consoles with original marble tops. The curved hoofed legs are headed by winged female torsos supporting swags with their wings. The frieze is centered by a large abstract feathered motif. The legs are connected by a stretcher with a central shell flanked by dragons in full relief. The consoles would appear to be influenced by the designs of Charles Lebrun.
